about

My friend and I were driving down Cty Rd 8 near Bobcaygeon and we drove by a farm with the name "Pratt" on the mailbox. We thought that "Pratt" sounded like a real good Country name, so I wrote this song with Pratt in mind!

lyrics

My name is Ernie and I, live on a farm
Got me a house with a, little barn
Living together in the, Country sun
Me and my Jesse, we’re sure having fun

Country Music, in my ears
Country music, kills my fears
Playing music, every night
With country music, you feel alright

Got me a neighbor, his name is Pratt
Sometimes we jam at his, country flat
With me on the guitar and, Pratt on the fiddle
We serenade our beer which sits in the middle

Made me this record, thought I’d go far
Make me a million, become a big star
But I’m still jamming, with Pratt in the barn
So much for leaving, this life on the farm
