This is a true event in my life. I was playing in a club in Toronto and this old man walked up to the stage and started talking to me. This is his story.

Each one in search of his own dreams and goals
When up to the stage walked a lonely old man
Of 56 people, I’d captured one fan

He once had a dream to bring peace to the world
But the dream became shattered as each new year unfurled
But he still held his faith for it helped ease the pain

He had a mouth harp so I asked him to play
So he played an old love song from far yesterday
Reflections came back to him from a far distant past
Of a love that he’d had but I knew didn’t last
