In the early 2000’s, I went through an extremely traumatic experience. It literally shook my world. Now, almost 20 years later, it still haunts me. I wrote this song in 2003 about the person who put me through this life-altering experience and what I was feeling at the time.
I have not had the desire to record this song… until now. It is therapeutic to “let this go”, and perhaps other people will be able to relate in their own ways, as we have all been hurt by someone we thought we knew and trusted.
