And the sea, it glistens shore to shore,
It is there that I find, my true Canadian home
And my dreams, it is there that they soar

I have been to America and I’ve traveled overseas,
But the land that I love kept calling me
There is none that I’ve found, to be so very blessed
Than my Canada from mountains to the sea

This Canada I live in, the best that it can be
Where we welcome downtrodden refugees
And we help all others, who’ve fallen on hard times
And our light shines bright for all to see
A true beacon of Democracy

I am a proud Canadian; you can hear it in my song
And there’s no other place I’d rather be
It’s the land that I love that was blessed from above
From the prairies to the Rockies to the seas
It’s my Canada the best that it can be
